The Dunes Course was originally designed by Charles B. MacDonald and Seth Raynor in 1925. The Dunes Course was redesigned and rebuilt in 1998 by Rees Jones. The Dunes fairways are parkland style, and the course is a par 72 with 6,762 yards.

Reconstruction of the Shore Course began in February 2003, and the new course was opened in June 2004. Golf course architect Mike Strantz created a truly spectacular links-type golf course on the Club’s pristine oceanside property. The Shore has 6,914 yards and is also a par 72.
The Crosby Pro-Am was played on MPCC’s Dunes Course for 18 consecutive years beginning in 1947, then shifted to the Shore Course in 1965 and 1966. In 1967, the tournament was moved to Spyglass Hill Golf Course. The Crosby later returned to MPCC in 1977. In 2010, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am included MPCC’s Shore Course in its rotation, along with Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course.

The Shore Course was designed by Bob E. Baldock and Jack Nevillein 1959 after the members purchased the club from Del Monte Properties. In 2003, more than 40 years later, the members decided to hire Mike Strantz to redesign a layout on par with the stunning land it was first sowed. “I wanted to shape the course to sweep with the natural terrain—the rocks, the trees and grasses, the ocean,” Strantz said. “I dreamed that the course would appear to dance among the cypress trees on this coastline forever.” Strantz designed 12 new holes and remodeled the other six to add more than 500 yards to the par-72 layout. This wonderful layout is located along 17 Mile Dr. in Pebble Beach. Views of the rugged coastline are spectacular.

The Dunes Course was originally designed by golf architect Seth Raynor and Robert Hunter completed the work following Raynor's death. A little over 70 years later, the members hired Rees Jones in 1997 to reconstruct and fix some drainage/layout issues. This course is located on a beautiful piece of land, with rolling typography, which stretches from the Del Monte forest all the way down to the rocky Pacific Coastline. The inland portion weaves through the majestic Del Monte pine forest, with undulating, tree-lined fairways and large multi-tiered greens. As you reach the coastline this course starts to shine with sprawling vistas of the natural landscape.
