The NPS Foundation held its Winter Quarterly event, Stories From the Frontlines, this past January 21st at the Naval Postgraduate School. Students LT James McRandle, USN, MAJ Chris Hall, USA and MAJ Kenneth Dwyer, USA shared with our guests a selection of personal experiences from the time they each spent in Afghanistan. The event was moderated by Professor Tom Johnson, Director of the Program for Culture & Conflict Studies at NPS. After the students each spoke, Professor Johnson facilitated a panel discussion and gave the audience the opportunity to ask questions to learn more about Afghanistan and the current status of the war.
After the discussion, guests were treated to wine and Afghan appetizers to complete the cultural learning experience.
