Since joining Oblix in 1999 as president and CEO, Mr. Gordon Eubanks has managed the company's rapid growth and established its positions as the industry's leading provider of Enterprise Identity Management Solutions. Prior to joining Oblix, Mr. Eubanks spent 15 years as president and CEO of Symantec Corporation, where his emphasis on customer care, collaborative partnerships and strategic acquisitions transformed Symantec into one of the world's most prominent software companies. Previously, Mr. Eubanks founded C&E software (which Symantec acquired in 1984) and served as a senior executive at Digital Research, Inc., where he was responsible for commercial systems software development and marketing.
Mr. Eubanks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science Degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. Eubanks also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Nuclear Submarine Force. He holds positions on the boards of Oblix, Genuity Estate, Applied Minds, M7, and he is an active member of industry trade associations, including a past tenure as chairman and president of the Software Publishers Association.
