Natasha Merkle is a Communications Consultant for the NPS Foundation. She served as the Director of Communications for the NPS Foundation from March 2009 to June 2010. Since moving to Virginia in June 2010, Ms. Merkle maintains all NPS Foundation web networks and print communications remotely from the Northern Virginia area.
Ms. Merkle is originally from Mason, Ohio and is a graduate of Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Prior to her work at the NPS Foundation, Ms. Merkle worked in the Human Resources field in Honolulu, Hawaii as a Human Resources Manager and Corporate Recruiter in the hotel and banking industries. Ms. Merkle is also enrolled in Gonzaga University online, working to obtain her Masters degree in Communication and Leadership Studies.
Ms. Merkle is married to Capt Tim Merkle, USMC who is an NPS alumni. In her free time, she enjoys: traveling, spending time with her husband and labrador Lucky, developing iPhone applications, running, cycling and yoga.
