About the NPS Foundation Running Club

The NPS Foundation Running Club is a group of NPS students who enjoy the competitive sport of running. The members of the NPS Running Club meet for group runs weekly and also support each other's individual training efforts. A majority of the members run in competitive races in the Monterey area as well as across the country. To join the NPS Foundation Running Club distribution list, please email Giovanna Kha Marino at the NPS Foundation Office at gakhamar@nps.edu.  For more information about Running Club events, please email LT Leslie Esher laesher@nps.edu

Running Club Apparel

Club Running Singlets are stocked regularly in sizes small to extra large in both men's and women's sizing in the NPS Foundation Peacock Shop. Club members who are also NPS Foundation lifetime members receive a complimentary running singlet when they join the Running club. Club members who are NPS Foundation annual members can purchase one NPS running singlet for $15, while the general public can purchase a NPS running singlet for $40.  We also offer a running t-shirt (made of a moisture wicking fabric) with the NPS logo on it for our runners to wear while training or racing for $24.

The club also orders running shorts, shirts and jackets at the beginning of each academic quarter. For more information on ordering custom running apparel, please contact Giovanna Kha Marino in the NPS Foundation Office at gakhamar@nps.edu
