One of the NPS Foundation's primary objectives is to provide support to the students of the Naval Postgraduate School. All NPS Foundation programs and activities ultimately circle back to how the foundation can better support student learning and development to foster a better NPS experience for each student. 

As of June 15, 2010, all Naval Postgraduate School students will be extended a complimentary basic lifetime student membership in the NPS Foundation.  Student members are able to upgrade their membership at any time (up to 90 days after graduation) to the Enhanced Student Membership or Premier Student Membership at an additional cost.  Enhanced and Premier Student members will receive additional membership perks above the complimentary membership.  All memberships entitle students to lifetime membership with the NPS Foundation.  Membership benefits are outlined as follows:

Note to current student members: Students who are already members of the NPS Foundation will be converted to this new level of membership based on their current membership level.  Current annual student members will be converted to the enhanced student membership and current lifetime student members will have their membership converted to the premier student membership.  All memberships are now lifetime memberships, with no expiration date.
