What is the NPS Foundation?

The NPS Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization whose primary mission is the support the students and faculty of NPS.  Similar to other educational institutions, private support is vital to achieve standards above the sustaining level of public funding.  Private donations enhance the educational experience to the level of the country's best institutions of higher learning.

Through memberships and other donations, we are able to provide private funds for:

• Academic awards
• Faculty recruitment and retention
• Individual NPS departments
• Upgrades to facilities and equipment
• Sponsoring guest lectures
• NPS visibility and community involvement
• Historic preservation, museum displays and recreational opportunities
