Naval Postgraduate School Foundation

The NPS Foundation, Inc. President’s Circle is a national group of senior business leaders that support the Naval Postgraduate School, and it’s research programs focused on national security. Members of the NPSFI President’s Circle will have the opportunity to participate in on-going discussions with the nation’s top scientists, engineers, political scientists, educators, religion scholars, military strategists, and economists on national security issues.

To Join:

To join the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation, Inc.(NPSFI) President’s Circle, an annual contribution of $5,000 or more is required. The NPS Foundation is a non-profit 501© 3 organization, and all contributions are tax deductible. As the leading Department of Defense research university, NPS is engaged in unique military research based on the operational experience of the student officers in Monterey. Many of these promising areas of research are under funded, and the NPS Foundation is able to make strategic investments with the money raised from the President’s Circle, to make a significant impact on national security programs.

By joining the NPSFI President’s Circle, you can enjoy the following benefits:

ü      Interaction with some of the nation’s top experts on national security issues. You will be invited to a semi-annual retreat, to discuss significant national security issues.  Dates to be announced at a later time.

ü      The Naval Postgraduate School is home to scholars from around the world, either as resident professors, or as guests lecturers. Many of these individuals are considered world renowned experts in key national defense areas. You will be invited to attend lectures by these key individuals at NPS.  On other occasions, we will provide you with important papers that have been published on key strategic area.

ü      We will provide you with updates on the research at the school, and specific areas the NPS Foundation is providing assistance at NPS.

ü      You will receive notification of important NPS Events and the opportunity to participate. On August 12, 2008, the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation along with the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society will host the 3rd Annual America’s Heroes Charity Golf Tournament at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach. The proceeds from this event go towards supporting service men and women wounded in action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
