Robert Rice

Trustee Emeritus, NPS Foundation

Mr. Robert Rice has worked over 44 years in the television broadcasting industry. He worked for 26 years as a television station President/General Manager in four TV markets. Mr. Rice’s professional involvements and accomplishments include Chair, ABC Television Network Affiliate Board of Governors (representing 210 TV station), Treasurer of the National Bureau of Advertising, National Abe Lincoln Award for Television, and Southern Baptist Radio & Television Commission.

Mr. Rice attended Syracuse University and received an M.S. in Television. He also received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Radio from Ithaca College. He served in the United States Army for two years.

Mr. Rice engages in numerous charitable efforts, including Boy Scouts/Eagle Scouts of America, United Way of Monterey County, Salvation Army, and countless others. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the NPS Foundation from 1999-2015. Mr. Rice and his wife Sandy reside in Monterey, California.
