NPSAAF International Club

International Club,

Good morning!  This is a reminder that next Monday, 9 September, we will be meeting up in the Trident Room from 1600-2000 to watch (American) football and have a few drinks.  Please send CMDR Rassmusen (perasmus@nps.edu) a message if you are planning on attending and can assist with the distribution of drink tickets.  The intention of this event is to socialize and provide our international students with an opportunity to practice English.

Additionally, NPS is soliciting volunteers to assist with the "Monterey Language Capital of the World Festival" on 6 October.  If you are interested in representing the school to the local community, then this event is a great opportunity for you.  Please contact LT Michael Larson at michael.l.larson@nps.edu for more information.

Finally, Maj Phil Gregg is starting an English circle to provide our international student with additional opportunities to practice their English in social settings.  Please send him an e-mail at phillip.gregg@nps.edu if you are interested in attending.

Good luck with your studies and I hope to see you on Monday!

Justin Hauffe

International Club President
