PARTNER UPDATE

Building The Ecosystem

Representatives from the Naval Postgraduate School and Naval Postgraduate School Foundation attended the Navy League's annual Sea-Air-Space conference April 3-5. We engaged in discussions and meetings with current and potential industry partners to expand and strengthen long-term strategic partnerships in support of interdisciplinary, classified and applied work that meets the specific needs of the DOD and the Department of the Navy. There were three distinct levels of corporate engagement at Sea-Air-Space 2023, and every engagement validated the desire from industry to collaborate with NPS.

• The deep engagements set conditions for senior level engagement by NPS and the NPS Foundation in support of the Naval Innovation Center at NPS as well as early work to further develop the innovation ecosystem at NPS.
• The short touchpoints offer us the opportunity for follow up.
• Initial meetings enabled exploration for collaboration with NPS.
